Great playing MIM Strat with Reverse Headstock (a la Hendrix style). This body came in with a damaged neck, so it received a brand new Fender neck with maple fingerboard. I also installed new Fender staggered locking tuners and a black Graphtech Tusq XL nut. (The body was not harmed, it's in perfect shape) Volume and Tone knobs as well as the Pickup covers have been swapped out along with the Neck Plate for a blacked-out Gilmouresque contrast look on the 3-ply W/B/W pickguard.

The electronics consist of Fender Tex-Mex pickups, Fender 5-way switch and CTS pots; these pickups test on the meter at N-6.6, M-6.4, B-7.5, and sound great. I compared this to the new Player Plus series that sells for $1100, and though these aren’t the noiseless pickups, they’re very quiet (shielded guard) with the desirable Tex-Mex single coils, providing a more classic Strat sound as well as some extra mojo via a very comfortable playing reverse headstock neck.

This guitar is overall in excellent condition for a lightly played guitar. There are a couple of minor dings/scratch’s on the body (see pics), but no major damage or chunks. This has been set up with a fairly low action and Ernie Ball Hybrid strings (9-46 gauge).
