We have 14 young rabbits up for adoption. These bunnies came to the rescue due to an owner having two oops litters. . ..14 baby bunnies later, here we are! The first litter was born in mid-November, making them right around 3 months old. The second litter was born 12/24/16, making them right around 8 weeks old. They are all currently housed with their same-sex buddies and are ready to find their new homes!

These rabbits are believed to be Rex rabbit, or Rex mixes. We were told that mom and dad are about 6-7 pound rabbits, so expect these bunnies to get good sized. As you can see from the pictures, these rabbits are red and white. Some are mostly red, some are red with some white markings, and then we have some that are mostly white with red spots. We have more females than males, but at this point, there's still plenty of each to choose from.

These rabbits were handled since birth. They do well when they are in your arms, but they are still a bit nervous when you go to pick them up. If they are free-roaming in the house, they are very curious and will come up to you, but may move away if you move too fast and startle them. They are super sweet and playful! None of them have ever bitten. Their foster mom and dad are working with them to try to get them even more used to people so they will be the most well-adjusted rabbits they possibly can be, so their new homes can enjoy them as much as possible.

These rabbits are not spayed or neutered.

Each of these rabbits will go to their new home with 2 pounds of rabbit food (MannaPro Pro) and a printed out version of our rabbit care packet. If you need more supplies, we sell just about everything you might need, from cages to food bowls, to water bottles, to rabbit food, and more!

If interested in adopting, you will be asked to read our rabbit care packet, fill out our rabbit adoption form, and provide proof of cage. No rabbits will go to their new homes without these things being done - no exceptions!

Because rabbits are illegal to own in Hammond (where the rescue is located), these rabbits are fostered in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Please note that if you live in Hammond, we are sorry, but you will be unable to adopt one of these rabbits. Also, please note, that when adopting, you will need to drive to Cedar Lake, which is where the adoption will take place.

The adoption fee for each of these rabbits is $35, or adopt a same-sex pair for $60.

You can email us or call show contact info for more information or if you have any questions. If you call and there is no answer, please leave a message and we will get back to you.
