1970 Globestar travel trailer. Model M-19. Has a clean title. 19' - 3,200 lbs. Cash or barter only - no financial instruments or accounts (to weed out scams).
I don't want to waste your time or mine - the trailer needs a lot of work. A roof leak pooled on the floor and caused roof and significant floor damage. The basic structure of the trailer seems solid (walls, undercarriage, etc.) - although a person more skilled in these areas than me could make a better evaluation. My main concern is that you can move it off of the lot where it presently is to a place where you would be able to work on it at your leisure. It will need new tires or to be winched onto a flatbed for any initial serious transport. (Please read that last sentence again.) I have two (of a necessary four) tires that might be usable for a short haul (but which cannot be used on a long-term basis). I prefer that somebody nearby the Morris, Illinois area respond to look at it, as I don't want to waste your time on a long trip unless you are serious about buying the trailer and understand what it entails.
That said, it might be a worthwhile project for the right person who knows what they're doing. The trailer could be rehabbed into a functional travel trailer, turned into an "off grid cabin on wheels" - or even shown at vintage camper rallies by somebody who is truly ambitious.
Includes refrigerator, stove, air conditioning unit, water heater, and propane tanks.
Has a very small "wet bathroom", which means the stall for a porta-potty (not included) and shower are together. The shower can be a "sun shower" on the roof or installation of a heated shower.
