Billing / Payroll Administrator JOB SUMMARY:
The Billing / Payroll Administrator will help drive the agenda and performance throughout Guardian Security Services specifically associated to the activities related to all Billing and Payroll functions. This is a hands on position that requires close collaboration and communication with principals, operational managers, and employees. In this role, you’ll provide critical support to multiple operational lines furthering the capabilities of our business objectives. The Billing / Payroll Coordinator will follow and execute Guardian’s continuous improvement strategy and drive accuracy in our Payroll functionality. The Payroll Coordinator proactively evaluates business needs and existing practices, and executes all functions timely.
Degree preferred in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum Work Experience:
Must have three (3) or more years, experience in Billing / Payroll responsibilities.
Knowledge of Hourly Employee operations preferred not required
Must have advanced computer skills:
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products.
Must be able to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card w/in 30 days
Administer the contractual responsibilities associated to Billing, Rates, and Payroll ensuring accuracy.
Administer data entry functionality concerning wage rates and bill rates for our entire book of business.
Verify hours worked versus Contractual hours.
Administer Payroll entry on a Bi-Weekly basis.
Assist in the daily administration of contract compliance.
Maintains the appropriate processes, tools, systems and training necessary to scale and support the Billing and Payroll function
Ensures reporting objectives are met and data is transformed into useful business intelligence
Communicate effectively with internal partners to ensure preparedness during the Billing and Payroll process.
Field employee calls and emails regarding Payroll inquiries.
Must maintain sound working relationships with every level of administration.
Requires the ability to resolve both internal and external disputes effectively.
Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Handles a variety of extremely confidential and organizational reports, information, and issues.
Responsible for the development of programs to ensure continuous quality improvement and external and internal service satisfaction.
Ensures that the duties, tasks, and functions of the department are fulfilled in an efficient and effective manner at all times.

This position will primarily be sedentary work requiring little lifting. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum. Occasional stooping, kneeling, reaching, and typing required. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word required. Perceiving the nature of sound by the ear required. The ability to see and obtain impressions through the eyes of shape, size, distance, motions, or other characteristics of objects required. This requires sharp eye focus and the ability to identify and distinguish colors. The position requires 80% sitting and 20% standing and/or walking. May occasionally require prolonged exposure to elements during emergency situations.
