This is a set of vintage cello tonewood, largely from the collection of Edward C. Campbell. The pre-joined and routed top and back are approximately 35-40 years seasoned, with the rib set estimated to be of the same vintage. There is also an additional rib set from John Preston. The roughed-out scroll was imported directly from Romania over 6 years ago and features well-quartered and nicely flamed maple. This set is being offered for $800, no shipping, local pick up in the south Chicago suburbs.
