I have a World War II Army Air Force (AAF) photographic artifact. It is an optical printer stretcher used to stabilize and improve the quality of AAF aerial films.
It was produced by Eastman Kodak, Rochester, N.Y., as a Printer, 16mm motion picture stretch. It has a serial number and a tag indicating US-AF.
It has components from General Electric and Weston Electrical. There is also a small metal tag on the film reel which reads Houston Corp, Los Angeles, a World War II military contractor.
I believe it has some connection to the University of Chicago. I have attached some pictures for your review.
