WWII Pacific GI brought back. At the end of WWII, US forces occupying Japan confiscated silver amongst other things. Original owner, from family collection.

Case overall in excellent condition with no cracks. Front is engraved. Hinge and case clasp are fully functional. Shows some dark markings on backside of case. There is a one small indentation on side back edge, see last photo. Silver mark stamped inside case: Sterling

Weight: 7.55 oz

Assuming this was a Japanese officer’s case due to the battleship engraving. A genuine WWII Pacific artifact.
