1986 Hobie power skiff with 60 hp mercury (good compression on all 3 cylinders) two stroke. New Bimini, throttle controller, shift cables etc (sept 2024), new water pump, fuel lines, pump, tank, tires, wheel bearings, fuse panel, etc. In the last 2-3 years. Ran excellent when stored in fall of 2024. I have the seat cushions, extra prop or two and other miscellaneous parts will go with boat. The transom is solid. Only used in freshwater.
Ive had some major projects going on and will continue in 2026, I just don’t have time for this wonderful boat.
The boat was purchased new from a friend of mine a stones throw from my property. He gave it to his father-in-law (long passed away) a co worker of mine. His son (also a friend of mine) had it another 10-12 years until I bought it in 2021. I originally bought it to create another reason to get my 3 grown kids to our property more. With grandkids, work commitments and life throwing you curveballs it’s time for the skiff to find a new home. I have no doubt this boat will run when adding fuel. I run it empty in the fall. I have a cover for the cockpit area and a generic cover for the whole boat. Spare tire too. I’ll try and add a video of boat and more pics. Some are from a few years back that don’t show the Bimini top or new controller, etc.
