For sale is a great 1989 Congress Bicentennial Two-Coin Proof Set. These coins were minted and sold in 1989 to commemorate the Bicentennial of the U.S Congress. In the pair is Congress Half Dollar and Silver Dollar. The obverse of the Dollar features the statue that sits at the very top of the dome at the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. and the reverse features the staff symbol of the U.S. Congress. The obverse of the Half Dollar features a close up of the bust of the Capitol's Statue and the reverse features a landscape view of the Capitol. The Dollar is 90% silver. The set does not come with the Mint packaging.

As you can see from the pics the coins are in great shape with that beautiful mirror-image finish with frosty raised reliefs you come to expect from high quality proof coins. They have no major damage or blemishes at all.
