For Sale is an awesome 1992-S U.S. Premier Silver Proof Set in the original government packaging. The U.S. Mint produced the Premier Silver Proof sets 1992 to 1998 specifically for collectors of high quality silver proof coins. They did make regular proof sets as well, but the Premier Sets were one step above, being the top shelf of all the sets. What makes this 1992 set so special is it is the very first year the Mint produced Silver Proof Sets for collectors. It also has a low production number of just 308,000 sets. Like the regular Silver Proof Sets, there are 5 total coins in the set. The Nickel and Cent are regular issue proof coins, but the Half Dollar, Quarter, and Dime are all 90% silver, for a total of 3 silver coins. But the big difference with the Premier Set is the coin housing. It comes in a very thick and heavy velvet holder that can fold in half as a presentation piece. The set comes in the original government packaging which is the box and certificate of authenticity.

The coins in this set are absolutely amazing. The coins have no major toning and all would easily grade PROOF-69 or 70 deep cameo, and all have the perfect mirror finish with frosty images you expect from high quality proof coins. The coins really are gorgeous!
