For Sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1996 U.S. Silver Proof Set in its original government packaging. The Silver Proof sets were released from the Mint from 1992 til today specifically for collectors of high quality silver proof coins. These sets represent all of what were called the "black packaging" Silver Proof Sets which consists of the five regular issued coins from each year. In 1999 the packaging changed with the addition of the State Quarters. The Nickel and Cent are regular issue proof coins, but the Half Dollar, Quarter, and Dime are all 90% silver, for a total of 5 proof coins, and 3 of them silver! The set comes in the original government envelope including the certificate of authenticity.

Each and every coin in these sets are absolutely flawless. There is no real toning on them at all, and all would easily grade PF-69 or 70 deep cameo, and all have the perfect mirror finish with frosty images you expect from high quality proof coins. Even the packaging is in great shape.

For those who collect proof sets or silver coins, these are the cream of the crop! Thanks!
