For sale is a very cool 1950-B $10 Boston Federal Reserve Star Note. Star Notes are considered "replacement notes," so when a regular note was destroyed by the Treasury they would replace that note with a Star Note. They get their name obviously by the green star that is right next to the serial number. Star Notes are always far more rare and collectible than regular notes because they are printed in much lower quantities and have smaller serial numbers. This Boston Star Note is actually pretty scarce because only 2.8 million of them were printed, which is just a fraction of the number of regular notes printed.

As you can see from the pics the note is in really nice shape, and would be considered higher-grade condition. It does have lots of crispness to it and the white and green colors are very vibrant. The note does have folds to it but there are no rips or tears or major stains.

This is an amazing vintage Note great for any currency collection. Please email me with questions or interest. Thanks!
