For sale is a very cool 1962 Franklin Proof Silver Half Dollar. What makes the 1962 Proof Franklins especially cool is it is second to last year of the Proof Franklin Halves because they were abruptly ended due to the creation of the Kennedy Half Dollar in 1964 after his sudden death. Due to the short run of the Franklin Half Dollar, there are only a total of 14 Proof Franklin Halves, and this is one of them. And like all Franklin Halves, this coin is 90% silver.

As you can see from the pics the coin is in stellar shape with all the original mint shine and mirror-image background you expect from high quality proof coins. It does have a bit of ghost toning to it, which is very common with Proof Franklins and can really only been seen under photography light. It has no damage and has not been cleaned.
