For sale is a great pair of the 1915 & 1916 Buffalo Nickels. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938 before it was replaced by the Jefferson Nickel. Many of the early dates in the teens are key dates of the series, and these two dates are no exception because of their low mintage numbers, and because the early dates had their dates wear off so quickly that so many are not recognizable anymore. So whenever you find them in really nice mid-grades like this it is always a nice find.
As you can see from the pics the coins are in really nice condition with all lettering and raised images clear and present. And the most important thing, the dates, are nice and bold. Both coins are F grades, which is actually very nice grades to find these early Buffalos in. Neither have any major damage and have not been cleaned.
This really is a must-have pair for any Buffalo Nickel collection. Please mail me for any questions or interest. Thanks!
