For sale is a cool pair of 1964 & 1964-D Kennedy Silver Half Dollars--both in gorgeous uncirculated condition. The Kennedy Half was minted abruptly in 1964 right after the death of President Kennedy. Kennedy Halves are still minted today, but only for collectors' sets. Kennedys haven't been issued for general circulation since 2001. The very unique thing about the 1964 Kennedy is it is the only year they minted a 90% silver coin for circulation making the 1964 the most desired of them all. Both coins total almost 3/4 ounce of pure silver.
As you can see from the pics both coins are in amazing shape, and both would come in at nice MS uncirculated grades. They both have their original mint shine, luster, and details. They have no major toning, no damage, and have not been cleaned.
For those collecting Kennedy halves, or anyone just collecting silver, this is a must-have set of coins. Thanks!
