Hey, I'm selling my 2004 Honda Civic LX Sedan because I no longer live in the US. It has some issues but I hate to see it sitting, so maybe someone else can squeeze a little extra life out of it?

Last summer it started overheating so I used a bottle of liquid head gasket sealer and it did "fix" the issue. The car no longer overheated and I even drove it halfway across the country, from NC to IL, for over 6 hours straight and it didn't overheat. The bottle of sealant really impressed me. That said, BE AWARE that this car does have some kind of head gasket issue, so it is probably best for someone willing to deal with that if it comes back or someone wanting to do a proper fix themselves. Technically she is a "mechanics special" but it was holding up pretty well with that sealant I won't lie. But that is something I was willing to deal with and keep an eye on. It is not for everyone. The car has since been sitting for several months now, as I am out of the country and I was told the battery is now dead. So I just want to be as transparent as possible with what I know.

All things considered, the body and the frame are in fairly decent shape. Rust where you'd expect on a midwestern daily driver. A few dents, dings and scratches. But really, overall it is in decent shape for its age. I tried to take pretty good care of it. The interior is decent as well. Not pristine but not bad.

Got some generic Primewell All Season tires on it that only have about 20K miles on them.
I also have a decent set of Yokohama winter tires on steelies with less than 8k miles on them. (winter tires = 185/70R-14) Those can come with the car if you're interested.

Notable Work Done:
○ PCV valve, oil change, oil filter, spark plugs replaced @ 259,578
○ 2 brake lines replaced, brake fluid flushed and rear drums adjusted in May 2024
○ Starter replaced July of 2023
○ Radiator and hoses replaced May 2023
○ AC Deleted May 2023
○ New Tires @ 249,618 in Sep. 2022
○ Oil pan gasket replaced Sep. 2022
○ Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, valve cover gasket all changed. June 28th, 2021, at around 230k miles
