Large Dog Cage(kennel): $30 FIRM. No haggling please
Compare to Chewy.com's cage of the same size for $112.
As a reference for the scale of this cage, notice the orange 5-gallon bucket in the background.
For medium to large dogs and other similar animals, such as a hog (pig), cat. or even a larger bird.
Neighbor gave this away, and seller does not need.
This cage is made of steel with a plastic removable bottom. It has a door on a shorter side, and folds down to just 5 inches high for storage.
This is traditionally for a dog, but can be used for temporary shelter for a rabbit, cat, chicken, hog (pig), parrot, turkey, Tasmanian devil.
It's in good condition. Has a solid plastic bottom with raised edges, which makes cleaning up poop and pee easy. The plastic bottom slides out the end without opening the cage.
If you have or want to buy the wire type cage you have to make sure there is a solid bottom because many of them for sale in this website are missing. For OTHER listings, the bottom may have cracked or got lost, so the owner is selling the cage, while the buyer does not know this. Sometimes owners try to sell it incomplete -without this smooth solid bottom. A steel wire cage without the plastic bottom is not suitable for pets because it's not a flat surface. That will cause injury to dogs and some other animals.
A flat plastic bottom has raised edges which will pool urine or spilled water from the dish (not included). Being somewhat smooth yet flat. In case the pet releases waste (goes #1 or #2), the flooring will pool the waste so it doesn't spill onto a hard wood floor or carpet inside a house, home, a car/suv/van or other vehicle. The tray is removable [see picture 7].
The whole cage can be tied down while in transport to 28 x 42 x 5. Rather than tying with string or wire, what's easier is getting 2 to 4 elastic tarp straps with a hook on each end of each cord. Then hook the cage to seats or something like a seatbelt or to the eye bolts in the back of a pickup truck.
Seller estimates this would suit any dog below 50 pounds or shorter dogs weighing below 70 lbs. Standing up, the vertical height of your dog including ears should be less than 30 inches tall. The length of the dog should be less than 28 inches (2 feet, 4 inches) so the dog can turn around inside the cage. Dogs that may fit include (but aren't limited to) basset hound, Yorkie, Australian cattle dog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Shepherd, beagle, Bearded Collie, border collie, boykin spaniel, brittany, bulldog, bull dog, bull terrier or banana-head dog, chow chow, cocker spaniel, English springer spaniel, miniature American shepherd, corgi, standard poodle, samoyed, shar-pei sharpei, staffordshire bull terrier, schnauzer, Norwegian elkhound, or English setter, or smaller collie.
You may also use this for any small breed such as poodle, dachshund, etc.
No unwanted cracks, holes; no significant scrapes or bends; and fire or water damage. All sides latch in without allowing space to come apart. The door has 1 latch that can fit a lock or a linchpin, both of which are foolproof against escape by any dog.
The floor can be removed for cleaning without folding down the cage or altering it in any way [see last picture]. This floor protects your floors from urine, feces, some hair and other unwanted substances a pet may emit. It probably can hold over 1 gallon of liquid.
This can be used for a temporary shelter (dog house, doghouse ), however, the metal is painted and outside it will rust slowly. To protect the steel cage part from rain, put the cage next to a building and lean a board at least 6 feet by 4 feet against the building diagonally against the cage; Or place a board larger than the cage on top, and put bricks, a large rock, or a sandbag on top to hold it there like a roof.

If you capture a gull and put it in here, I think a good name for it would be "Gully". But I don't recommend that. Check your state wildlife laws before you attempt this. It might not be legal. If you find a gremlin, don't feed it after midnight or get it wet. I learned this from a Hollywood film, so you can probably trust that advice ... because of the broad credibility they have earned as documentary professionals.
