Meticulously kept roll-top desk.
When you aren't using it as a working surface, a roll-top desk can be great for storing most of the small items around your office. It has differently sized drawers and cubbyholes into which you can keep your stationery.
The first roll top desk is attributed to Abner Cutler who designed and patented his first desk in 1850. The roll top was designed to serve the function of a writing desk and consequently were used in both offices and grand homes to house writing materials and bills and ledgers within the many small compartments.
