Bathroom Remodel – Tile Installation – Tub Refinishing – Limited Budget
I am looking for an experienced tile installer, handyman, or small contractor to complete a bathroom renovation in a historic condominium located in Woodlawn (Chicago 60637).
The bathroom has already been partially demolished, and some new fixtures have already been installed. I will provide most of the finish materials (tile, grout, paint, light fixture, vanity accessories, etc.). The contractor should provide the necessary installation tools, setting materials, and any cement board/green board if required.
The project may involve installing new tile over the existing tile, depending on your professional recommendation, or completing additional demolition if necessary.
Scope of Work
* Evaluate the bathroom and recommend the best installation method.
* Complete any additional demolition if needed.
* Install cement board/green board where required.
* Install new wall tile around the tub/shower.
* Install floor tile if needed.
* Grout and caulk all tile.
* Paint the walls and ceiling.
* Install tile trim and finish edges.
* Install vanity light fixture.
* Install towel bars, toilet paper holder, and other accessories.
* Install new switch and outlet cover plates.
* Leave the bathroom clean and ready for use.
Bathtub
The existing bathtub will need to be professionally resurfaced (reglazed/refinished) or repaired if appropriate. Please have experience with bathtub refinishing or work with someone who specializes in it.
Materials
I will provide most of the finish materials, including:
* Wall tile
* Grout
* Paint
* Vanity light fixture
* Bathroom accessories
* Tile trim
Contractor should provide:
* Tile saw and installation tools
* Mixing equipment
* Tile spacers and leveling system
* Cement board/green board if needed
* Fasteners and installation supplies
* All tools required to complete the work
Looking For

Schedule
