We’re looking for a clean reliable and experienced painter or painting crew for our rental properties in the southwest Chicagoland suburbs. Our next project is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo (about 900 sq. ft.) that will be available in a few weeks once the current tenant moves out, and we’d like to have the entire unit repainted at that time.
Project #1 – Walls, Ceilings, and Closets
The interior is in good shape and was last painted about six years ago. We’re looking to have all walls, ceilings, and closets freshly painted, including filling any nail holes or small cracks. We’ll be using a light gray for the walls and white for the ceilings and closets.
The unit is on the second floor and includes a living room, small kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small hallway, and five closets. I will provide all of the paint; you’ll provide everything else (drop cloths, tape, tools, etc.).
Project #2 – Doors & Trim
All doors and trim are currently stained oak. We’re considering having everything primed and painted white. This requires someone with solid experience so the finish looks clean and professional. If you’ve done this type of work before, please include a separate quote for this part of the project. I’ll provide the primer and paint; you’ll provide the rest of the materials.
