We are currently looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our growing transportation team in Bridgeview, IL. Candidates with LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers efficiently
- Schedule pickups and deliveries
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers
- Track shipments and provide status updates
- Handle load planning, routing, and appointment scheduling
- Ensure on-time service and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and paperwork
Requirements:
- Previous dispatch experience required
- LTL experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dispatch/load boards and transportation software
- Knowledge of HOS and basic trucking regulations is a plus
