The JDS dust Collector was rated the number one 1.5 dust collector without a cyclone at the time of purchase. That rating was the reason I purchased it. It did not disappoint. Eventually, I wanted a cyclone and thought industry would offer cyclone conversion kits to mount to the base. They haven't. Otherwise, I would keep it. So, I purchased an Oneida Super Dust Deputy. It has worked fine. The electrical specs are 1.5 hp, 110/220 voltage, and 14/7 amperage. Because of some rust on the tip of the motor base I can't rate this excellent; otherwise, it is. I will provide a demonstration.

The craftsman shop vacuum is a gem. The suction is tremendous. It has been my go to shop vac for sanders.
