Job Description: As a Local Owner Operator Truck Driver, you will handle deliveries within the local or regional area, allowing you to return home daily in either case. This role is perfect for operators looking for flexibility, steady loads, and the support of a reputable company.
Responsibilities:
• Safely transport 53' domestic equipment (EMHU, UMXU) to and from designated locations within the local area
• Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and DOT regulations
• Keep your vehicle in good operating condition to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch for route updates and ensure efficient delivery operations
• Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A truck driving experience with at least 6 months of Intermodal experience
• Clean driving record (No accidents or major violations in the past 3 years)
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Reliable truck that meets DOT standards
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Strong understanding of local routes and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety
