Our established fleet shop in Melrose Park is looking for a skilled, dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. If you know how to diagnose, repair, and keep Class 8 trucks running strong, we want to talk to you.
🔧 About the Position
You’ll be responsible for maintenance and repairs on our in‑house fleet of trucks and trailers, with a strong focus on Freightliner Cascadia units. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing quality work.
🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers
Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
Use computer-based diagnostic tools (training provided for our systems)
Work on engines, brakes, electrical, suspension, and other major components
Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and workmanship
📌 What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic (trucks & trailers)
Having your own full tool set is a big plus
Ability to use diagnostic software
Must read and speak English clearly for work orders and communication
Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right
