95% of our loads require overnight sleep in the truck.
Full-Time driver needed for regional flatbed (Hotshot) operation, No CDL required. Loading in Chicago suburb, upper Midwest delivery (IA, IL, MI, MN, MO, WI), usually 400 miles from Chicago, occasional 600-700 mile run. We Always return empty. Approx. 800 loaded miles per week ($1400), 2 loads per week, more if wanted. Very light loads (Building Material), no chains, no tarp, strap and go. Saturday OFF, must be available every other Sunday. Ideal candidate should live within 10 miles of LaGrange, IL for quick access to truck. Our fleet is NON-SMOKING and we utilize RAM 2500's coupled with a 44' gooseneck flatbed trailer, 70' total combination. We provide fuel card, IPASS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Experience pulling/backing long trailers, NECESSARY. Need to Pass driving test.
*Knowledge of properly maintaining an electronic DOT log book, a plus
*Clean driver history report (CLEAN!), must bring current MVR to interview
*Valid DOT Medical Card. We will assist in obtaining
*Able to pass drug test
*Smoke-Free work place, and able to maintain a clean truck
*Excellent Phone Communication Skills: Respond to text messages IMMEDIATELY, voicemail UNACCEPTABLE when contacted by supervisor
*Our vehicles are electronically monitored by interior/ exterior dash cam and data recorder: Only Hands-Free cell phone use, FaceTimers Need Not Apply. We operate our vehicles 5 MPH UNDER the posted speed limit, at ALL Times
