Job Description:
We are currently seeking 1 local intermodal CDL A Driver to join our team for a dedicated account. This role is integral to our operations and requires a committed, reliable individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up empty containers at Container Yard
Perform live load or drop and pick at Chicago Heights (warehouse flexible)
Return the loaded box to the rail
Carry out spotting at warehouse as required
Adhere to dispatch instructions and communication effectively
Requirements:
Valid CDL A License
Clean Driving Record
Positive, professional attitude
Availability for Saturday work as needed
Ability to complete a minimum of 2 loads per day
Ability to operate a 10 speed Stick Shift Transmission
Minimum 2 years of Intermodal Experience
Additional Information:
Drivers are expected to complete a minimum of 2 loads daily for optimal financial compensation
An agile driver can complete up to 4 loads per day
Pay: $100.00 per load
Permanent position for the right fit
Truck parking available in Alsip, IL, with in-house mechanic
Brand new intermodal chassis provided
