The Lenk Manufacturing Company, founded in Newton, Massachusetts in 1920, was a prominent maker of blowtorches during the 1920s, including the "Imp" and "Spartan" torches. Their popular 1920s torches included gasoline and alcohol models, some of which were advertised as useful for hobbyists building radios, a popular pastime during that time.
