8 1/4"
The Hotel Saint-Louis et de La Poste in Autun, Burgundy, first became a "post-house relay" in 1751. As it passed through various reincarnations it became noted as one of France's finest hotels. After a year of complete renovations, it opened its new doors on May 1, 1997.
The history of the famous hotel includes hosting Napoleon on four separate occasions, as well as other members of the aristocracy and, more recently, modern celebrities from the world of film and art.
Plate made from 1936-1945
The names of the stagecoaches are: Paris, Saulieu, Bourg en Bresse, Grenoble, Valaence, and Nice.
