1967 lockheed L-1329 Jetstar 731 aircraft cockpit serial# 5104 registration N155TJ and the last picture show's this jet in 2001 and then it was scrapped at Fort Lauderdale executive airport in 2004. The 2 pictures with tail number N902K shows this jet with first registration. This jet was built as a Jetstar 8 in 1967 and registered as N902K and then converted to a Jetstar 731 conversion 6 in 1976. We have for sale this good condition jetstar 731 cockpit that we purchased in 2015 with plans to turn it into a very nice flight simulator but we were not able to get the project started so we have decided to sell it to someone that want's to do the same or something special with it. The flight controls are all working and fuselage seats 7, pilot, co pilot, jump seat, and 4 passengers. The cockpit dimensions are 7' wide by 7' high by 18ft long and it weighs appx 3000lbs and the complete nose gear is workable. The fuselage is sitting on a 26ft aluminum boat trailer at this time but we also have a military surplus type mc -9 aircraft logistic trailer cart model 4100 for sale seperately that we were going to mount fuselage on. This jet is (very rare) and has a very interesting history and was said to be used in Nevada as a test jet by lockheed martin for government projects. The 3rd owner and pilot of this jet with registration number N155AV was said to be actor John Travolta. The trailer can go with fuselage but it will not come with a title and has only been used to store and move around the fuselage so a buyer would need to either use a low boy trailer or 26ft flatbed tow truck to transport. The price is firm and as low as it is going to go as we have much more than the $6900 asking price invested in this unit but we need the warehouse space it is taking up. We will only show to (serious buyers) as we do not have time to waste or play games so please if not truly interested do not contact us. We do know of a aircraft salvage company that does have parts for this aircraft if a buyer wants to restore it for a display or museum attraction.
