Back 25 plus years ago, both my mother and wife purchased these stuffed animals for our daughter as Christmas presents. As you can imagine, she was thrilled and used to place them on top of her bed after it was made. No dragging them around, just carefully arranged in a specific location on her bed.
Let me start out saying that these are not your typical carnival type cheap stuffed animals. These are high end and I doubt you'll find these in your local Target or Kohl's stores.
As you can see, one is a shaggy dog, the other a cheetah. They are also large. The dog is around 4' long, the cheetah around 3' long. One is clearly marked as Neiman Marcus, the other Manhattan Toy but both came from Neiman Marcus. If you go to the Manhattan Toy Company website, their large 40" stuffed bear sells for around $450.
We've had them put away since they were displaced by Beanie Babies....
The dog is priced at $155, the cheetah at $135. Will consider a package if you're interested in both. Would make great Christmas gifts.
Our daughter has since struck out on her own is now residing 3000 miles away. She asked that we find them new homes.
