If your Sony MDS-E OR MDS-JE mini disc unit will not eject the disc or load the disc, this is the replacement belt you need. You will receive TWO (2) replacement belts, not only to have a spare, but they are very easy to lose, especially if they shoot away like a rubber band during installation.
I have personally replaced the belt in two Sony MDS-E10 and MDS-E12 units that would no longer eject the disc, and these bands work great, and are still working great 4 years later. Once you open the lid and view the location of the two white pulleys (see photo), you can bend the end of a paper clip to remove the old band and install this new one. No special tools required.
