Expected salary range of $183,600 to $204,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
Provide overall management of the engineering function of accountability. As responsibility increases within the organizion, hours of work may increase proportionally.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Provide management, governance and oversight of the engineering function of accountability with respect to the needs and regulory requirements of the nuclear fleet.
- Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relive corpore objectives and provide focus on the tainment of high-quality engineering results
- Participe as key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding site and Constellion Nuclear. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compension, Performance Evaluion, etc.). Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
- Directly and through subordines, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs th impact fleet operions.
- Participe as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.
- Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualificions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or reled science OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operor (SRO) license
- 10 years of overall reled experience
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Supervisory or managerial experience
Preferred Qualificions
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registrion
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Prior experience in a Nuclear Power or Mission Critical (Da Center) environment
- Large-Scale Power Integrion. 10+ years of high-voltage experience, preferred leading behind-the-meter (BTM) or colocion projects th interface directly with genering assets.
- Technical Stability & Reliability. Proven expertise overseeing power flow and transient stability studies to ensure nuclear units remain protected and stable during sudden shifts in massive third-party loads.
- Stregic Regulory Leadership. A track record of naviging Nuclear (10 CFR 50.59) and Grid (NERC/FERC) compliance while managing technical and contractual requirements for hyperscale customers.
- System Modeling: Experience overseeing studies in ETAP or equivalent nuclear-grade V&V software.
- Protection & Control: Strong familiarity with SEL (Schweitzer Engineering Laborories) relay logic and RTAC (Remote Terminal Unit Automion Controller) automion controllers.
- Event Analysis: Experience using tools like SEL Synchrowave for diagnosing relay behavior and analyzing fault da for settings preparion, the software tools like SEL Acceleror QuickSet
