So, this is a thing I built to partially enclose a lapidary flat lap machine to reduce the mess. It has a water reservoir at the top that’s piped down to the machine. Water reservoir even has a lid. Does the job, and didn’t leak last time it was used, but it’s been in storage so your mileage may vary. Wouldn’t be surprised if the tubing needs to be touched up. The “floor” has a rubber coating that needs to be touched up. It was LeakSeal, I believe.
It works with the 8” Ameritool and Hi-tech laps, and probably anything around the same size.
Please know that I am not a woodworker. I just get weird ideas for things and occasionally have enough time to bring them to fruition. This thing is not winning any awards for craftsmanship, unless the award is sponsored by people that make wood filler.
