Beautiful fishbowl cachepots such as this were once used in Chinese courts as a way to care for koi fish in harsh winters. Frequently ornamented with charming motifs, these cachepots now serve as exciting ways to look after your indoor plants, or you can put in an artificial bamboo or palm tree as a highlight.
This stunning vintage porcelain fishbowl planter features an intricate gold floral and tapestry motif, gilded all over, across its sleek beige glazed façade. There is also a matching floral motif border, equally complex in design. The planter’s inner wall feature exquisitely hand-painted koi fish and kelp.
The top diameter is approximately 14¾", perfect for any medium sized house plant. Matching wooden stand and artificial bamboo tree sell separately.
