Genuine Honda part that contains the latest EPA safety mandate that caused the 2017 gas tank redesign. This is the tank you want that is the latest, safer, redesigned one. Professional OEM Honda quality from Asia. Fits all newer and older Honda GX390 engines. The older part number is discontinued and caused injuries, thus forcing the EPA-mandated change with its new part number 17510-Z5T-000ZE. Most Honda dealers and resellers do not know this.
Tank is new, sealed, and has never been used. Photos are from a previous tank I have already sold. Each tank has a leak-test production date stamped on its bottom. The five different colored factory writings on the bottom are not scratches but are marks made with different colored inks from quality control checks.
This updated tank is very hard to find since Honda is not releasing them due to parts and inventory shortages. They are all allocated to new snow blowers and other power units which are backlogged for more than a year. Typical pricing is far more than what mine is. My storage space is limited and as such, I must sell now. My loss is your gain!
