Great all-around dive light with compact design from trusted Sofirn is an open water primary and a backup light for overhead dives. This handheld light is impressively and beautifully CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum, providing incredible power and reliability. The Luminous SST70 LED with its bright white emitter, 6500 Kelvin color, paired with an orange peel reflector produces an impressive 3200 lumens in a usable fixed-focus beam. It is part novelty with its colorful LED ring that lights with or without the lighthead. Importantly, it uses the new 5000 mAh 21700 lithium ion standard, which has twice the energy of an 18650 battery.

Intelligent design includes USB charging direct to the battery. No additional charger needed! Tailcap hole for affixing bolt snap or lanyard is generously-sized and works well. Beam is 12 degrees. Spill outside of the hotspot is pretty generous because of the orange peel reflector. Works well on land, too, as long as use is limited to the low and medium settings. The turbo setting throttles down to the high setting underwater after about two minutes because of intense heat management.
