Perfect optics create perfect lighting with no "hotspots" and plenty of spill in a generous, 120-degree beam that is perfect for video and photo shoots in caves, wrecks, and for documenting marine life on ocean dives. CRI is higher than 90 which makes for lifelike human subjects and natural skin color. Suberb runtime for extra-long dives is produced with the 160 watt-hour battery. Sustained, true, constant 5K-lumen output for the life of each charge exists until a warning comes nearing the "end" of the charge that flashes the output three times and lowers output to conserve energy, informing to transition to one of your two backup lights before power is out in about another 20 minutes. Intelligent design includes a sealed piezo switch with no moving parts that can break or flood. The circumference/ring around the switch has a power indicator of battery strength. This clear ring is green on a full charge, which later changes to yellow, which later changes to red, and changes finally to flashing red when battery is almost exhausted. This gives a clear indication during all moments of the dive as to how much battery remains. The tech diving community knows of this light and many consider it to be the "best" for many reasons, since there is no comparable match in the marketplace.
