This old-school Mag-Lite was made in the 1980s. It is brand new, never used. Zero marks on it! Beautiful blue aluminum. It was carefully and lovingly stored for forty years by a Mag-Lite collector. It is beautiful and has no scratches. If you hold or lift one made in this millenium, you will feel the new ones now made are much lighter. Mag-Lite reduced the thickness of the flashlight by a bit to save money to your detriment. This high-intensity flashlight is perfect for police, security guards, campers, and rugged outdoorsy-types. Its tight spotlight goes to a floodlight with a simple twist of the light-head.
If you want to use it as a blunt weapon of force against an intruder, you want the best. This is the best and won't crack in half over the intruder's head after one blow. You want to use repeated blows to subdue the intruder. This is the flashlight to use--not ones made today. It has a wonderful heft and feel to it when holding. Simply, it feels like a heavy-duty flashlight should. Made in USA.
