Hand-stitched from Eqyptian cotton percale in Italy by the Pratesi artisans. Classic embroidered scallop design oozes Pratesi and is its most popular embroidery, called the "braid motif." Double-faced embroidery. Base fabric is called "Splendore Sateen." Scalloped hem is completed with mezzo punto hemstitch. This is the sheet that is used in all top Chicago hotels--Four Seasons, Peninsula, and the Ritz-Carlton, as well as worldwide in similar, expensive five-star hotels. Put it on your bed and feel the luxury! Other than the emptiness of your wallet after your purchase from Pratesi on high-rent Oak Street in Chicago's Gold Coast, there is something unusually wonderful about falling asleep in bedsheets that cost $5,969.49 that just cannot be replicated by a set of sheets from Target that cost 1% of that price. Why pay full price and have to valet park your car for $55.00 for one hour on Oak Street? Buy from me and save big! And, I do not charge for valet parking in my driveway . . . yet.
If you do valet park your car and visit Pratesi, this is what you can expect to pay, and you can see these prices on its website:

Part of the savings buying from me is reflected not only from the sheets and pillowcases having a prior owner (even though the pillowcases were never used), but because there is one tear in each sheet. The tear in the flat sheet should be easy to sew since it is a straight tear, but no one over here knows how to use a needle and thread. The tear in the fitted sheet might be harder (but I am just guessing) since the tear goes at an angle and is not perfectly straight.
*For now, pricing includes only the two sheets since I am still looking for where the pillowcases went as I cannot find them.
