Carries up to 309 lbs. Unit would be best professionally moved and reinstalled at buyer's additional expense to ensure a working unit, which needs to be quoted by the installation company we used (parts are proprietary, and this company has them and services what they install). Buyer and I will initiate conversation with company after buyer and I speak (I'm happy to speak by phone), and put you in communication (they will look at your install location and determine what you need for your install situation). The company can shorten track (this is for straight runs only, as looking from bottom of stairs up): LH unit- 4 step (3 steps + landing = 4) 60-7/8" track. Unit is currently installed and working, with 2 remotes, and was used for 1 year by my parent. I prefer to work with buyer with the install company so that the buyer has a properly installed working unit. Please begin by photographing your installation location from the bottom up, counting steps + top landing, and locating nearest outlet at top or bottom of stairs. Each install is unique, and the company has additional parts (which are proprietary) to accommodate buyer's installation... just no longer rail at this time.
