Ground Pros is seeking a reliable, hands-on and collaborative team member to support our Fleet & Facilities Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our yard, warehouse, and equipment areas. This individual plays a key role in keeping our shop organized, safe and efficient helping to ensure our crews and equipment are ready to perform at the highest level.

Pay for this role is hourly and will range from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on job-related factors such as experience and skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive Results
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized yard, warehouse, and shop area at all times
● Operate as a professional Yardman to monitor and control operations within the yard, including safety policies, equipment storage and organization, and bulk material storage.
● Safely operate some heavy machinery (skid steers, wheel loaders, fork lifts, etc.) to perform various tasks
● Conduct regular inventory counts of parts, supplies, vehicles and equipment
● Restock PPE stations and ensure accessibility of safety equipment across facilities.
● Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing parts and supplies, and managing vendor pickups
Work Collaboratively
● Assist mechanics with tasks that require multiple people for safe or efficient completion
● Support Operations teams during peak periods by helping load and unload equipment or materials
● Perform general labor tasks as requested by managers
Requirements – What’s Needed to Succeed:
● Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
● Proven ability to think critically, manage time effectively and work collaboratively
● Operational experience with skids steers and other ground equipment
● Strong organizational habits and attention to detail in managing space and supplies
● Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in basic mechanical work
● Positive attitude and openness to feedback and coaching
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bilingual in English and Spanish
● 1+ year of experience in a similar yard, shop, or fleet support role
● CDL license a plus
