Key Responsibilities:✅
Fabricate and weld sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders. In cases where documentation is unavailable, the employee must be able to fabricate components freehand using experience and judgment.
Maintain and repair equipment as necessary, either as instructed or per work orders.
Make or rebuild replacement parts, jigs, fixtures, and other tools to support equipment functionality.
Operate and maintain all maintenance and repair equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and document activities as required.
Support inventory control processes to ensure inventory accuracy and availability of parts.
Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve fabrication and equipment issues.
Qualifications:✅✅
1.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or fabrication preferred.
2.(Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques.)
3.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and fabricate without documentation when necessary.
4.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance and inventory control systems.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
