Getting rid of some musical equipment I no longer use. This is my 2007 Carvin CT-6 in close to mint condition (never gigged), along with a perfect condition case. Frets are still in very good shape. Beautiful quilted solid maple top. You won't believe how this thing looks and plays. In my opinion Carvin, which is now Kiesel, is easily equivalent to PRS in design, construction and reliability. I've had several of them over the years and they've all been exceptional. Even though I no longer play, I'm keeping one just for personal enjoyment.
I changed out the pickups on her because I wanted to try other pickups on a PRS, and put those PRS pickups (59/09 from 2012) on the Carvin. Liked the sound, so left them in. If you like higher end PRS guitars, you'll love this CT-6. Check it out and prove it to yourself. The quilted top is gorgeous. I’ll be selling my PRS guitars, but I’m keeping one Carvin/Kiesel. No trades. Included a review from Vintage Guitar Magazine below. Thanks for looking.
