Did you watch the Music Man? Did you see Winthrop's joy when he received his shiny, new "solid gold" cornet?
This is a Like New cornet, used less than one school year. Our kid progressed from cornet to French Horn in her first year in band.
It is free of any scratches, dings or dents.
It includes a Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece.
There is also a bottle of valve oil, a fingering chart and a beginning instruction book.
I have oiled the valves and greased the slides so it is ready to go.
The case is in almost Like New condition - one small scuff on the handle.
Holton no longer makes this cornet or any entry level brass instruments as the competition from Asia has undercut the market. You can buy a new cornet on Amazon for $150 but you get what you pay for. A professional quality cornet sells for $1,500 to $2,500.
This is an American made, quality brass instrument that sold for over $700 when it was new. It will give your student no problems during the learning curve.
