The neck is a full "C" shape, hand carved and feels very comfortable. The pickups sound great and have a more modern voice to my ears. Some people say they sound active despite being a completely passive bass. There are a few dings on the headstock and a scrape on the back of the body. Other than that just a few small dings and light scratches here and there since this bass has been gigged. Nothing major and still in great shape overall. There are a few finish anomalies here and there as well. As I understand it these basses are completely hand made, and Marco mixes and applies the finish himself.
