This is a double bass string lifter tool of unknown origin. Constructed of cast aluminum, this lifter is used to maintain string tension and height while fine tuning and adjusting a bass bridge. The lifter body measures approximately 6" by 5" by 6", not including the 4 adjustable cork padded feet. More stable than a modern version, which has two feet compared to this model's 4 feet. A modern version of this tool can sell for $360+ new. We're offering this unique, fully-functional model for $195 plus shipping. No returns.
