Full size violin. It’s stamped “STAINER” on the back and has a paper label (Jacobus Stainer in absam…etc.) on the inside, but is definitely not an actual Stainer. It’s a respectable, antique, student model with decent volume and a very even, bright tone throughout its range.
No doubt it needs some TLC. It’s about a century old (late 19th/early 20th century). This was owned by a long departed relative, but I really don’t know the history of the instrument. There is a vintage wooden violin case that comes with it.
