This vintage Craftsman socket set includes three deep 12-point sockets, sizes 3/4 inch, 1-1/8 inch, and 15/16 inch, based on a 1/2-inch drive. The set is in good working order and was made in the USA. Perfect for automotive work and other hand tool applications, this set is a great addition to any tool collection. The sockets are branded Craftsman -- the "real" Craftsman your father and grandfather used to use in the 1980s. Get your hands on this high-quality set today and elevate your workmanship to a level of precision you always dreamed you would achieve. You won't wear these out like the Chinese Craftsman tools that came along in the last 30 years, as these original Craftsman tools were proudly made in USA to last a lifetime, and the life after yours.

If you look at the sheen and luster, these were from a set that was not the shiny, "blingy" nickel-looking finish. They are akin to a "matte" finish popular with some of today's cars. In addition, the engraving of "Craftsman" and the size as well as "Made in USA" is shallower than later renditions. If you are familiar with that generation/iteration of tool/time of production, you know what these products are. If so, you will also know that they are highly sought-after and command a certain premium.

The 47525 has no visible oxidization. Two have a very small amount of oxidization development inside the sockets, the 47533 more so than the 47529 which has a tiny bit as shown in the photos. To easily get them looking like new, simply clean them in paint thinner or give them an acid bath.
