I bought this printer in 2011. It has been a great printer. One of the consumables is a fuser that I have had to replace several times. The fuser needs replacing again, but Brother no longer makes this part for this printer because the printer is so old. What happens with the bad fuser is that there are a lot of paper jams when you print or copy. The automatic document feeder works just fine still. Scanning still works ok. It is just the printing part, with all the jams, that causes me to replace this printer. It is yours for free, if you want to come and get it.
