offering a brand new just built in 2025 recreation of a 1947 Doodle Bug scooter that I just completed from a kit by YESTERDAYS RIDES of Mcminnville Oregon.
all new from top to bottom, new Predator 212cc 6 1/2 hp 4 stroke gas engine.
optional Whizzer 1.25 gal gas tank
I had an original one as an 11 year old kid back in 1963 & just finished this build but am too old & crippled to ride it.
starts right up, strong rear disc brake, is too fast for me. one sold on Bring a trailer in 2023 with spirited bidding for $4000 plus purchase fees.
you cannot duplicate this one for less than the $4000 price I'm asking.
Original ones made by BEAM MANUFACTORING CO of Webster City Iowa after WWll, some 40,000 were made.
